ORAVEN GmbH operates ORAVEN's entire international web presence and associated web applications. This Privacy Policy applies to all websites operated by ORAVEN. Personal Data

Personal data comprises individual information concerning the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your real name, address, telephone number, and date of birth. Information that cannot be directly linked to your actual identity – such as preferred websites or the number of users of a website – does not constitute personal data.

Your Rights

You have the right to request information about your personal data as well as its rectification, deletion, or restriction in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

When you visit our websites, our web servers routinely and permanently store, for system security purposes, the connection data of the requesting computer, the pages you visit on our website, the date and duration of your visit, identification data relating to the browser and operating system used, and the website from which you accessed our website. Deletion of Data

If your data is no longer required for the purposes stated above, including billing purposes, it will be deleted. Please note that whenever data is deleted, it is initially only blocked and permanently deleted after a certain period of time in order to prevent accidental deletion or possible intentional damage. For technical reasons, data may be duplicated in backup files and service mirrors. Such copies may likewise only be deleted after a technically necessary delay.

Use of Cookies

On our websites, we generally use so-called session cookies, which store data in your browser's memory for technical session management. They are deleted no later than when you close your browser. Cookies do not contain any personal data and cease to have any relevance once you leave our website. In certain cases, your personal data is encrypted during transmission using Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology. This means that communication of data protected by TLS between your computer and our servers is secured using a recognized encryption method, provided that your browser supports TLS.

If you wish to contact us by email, please note that the confidentiality of transmitted information cannot be guaranteed. The content of emails may be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you send confidential information to us exclusively by post.

Personal Data and Its Processing in Detail – Email Marketing (Mailings)

In order to respond optimally to your wishes and interests, ORAVEN GmbH uses your email address for marketing communications. Through the ORAVEN newsletter and other mailings, we provide you with information about our company and our offers. If you wish to receive mailings, we require a valid email address as well as confirmation that you are the owner of the specified email address and consent to receiving the mailings.

Shortly after submitting your mailing subscription, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Your address will only be added to the mailing list after you click the confirmation link contained in this email, after which you will automatically receive future mailings (the so-called double opt-in procedure). When subscribing to mailings, the IP address and the time of registration and confirmation are stored so that the registration can be verified in case of doubt.

To continuously optimize our email communications, we evaluate usage behavior in statistically aggregated form (e.g. Link A was clicked by 60% of all mailing recipients), so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual recipients. You may modify your mailing subscription or unsubscribe with immediate effect at any time without stating any reasons. To do so, please click the "Personal Profile" link included at the end of each mailing. In your personal profile, you can unsubscribe completely or modify and supplement the information you have provided. You can also edit or unsubscribe from individual areas of interest.

Inquiries via Contact Forms

At various points on our websites, under "Contact", we provide visitors with the option of submitting inquiries relating to our products. By clicking the "Send" button, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your data. The data is processed, stored, and used to handle your inquiry and, in the case of inquiries from a business environment (B2B), for marketing purposes to the extent permitted without consent. You may object to this use at any time using the contact details provided above. Once your inquiry has been processed, consumer data held by us will be deleted.
